we are very proud to count with the swiss funkman >agnès< on our artist pool! the man as been quiet busy lately. and the gentleman is sure not showing up with empty hands on this one. he s dub vaults are made of dead funk actions, his ever deepness along with the today s needed modern club artillery. on the a side lays the floor killer >hi-murda<. a hypnotic and dubbed out beat that just rules and rolls, a massive bassline from beyond and the ever twisted micro vocals clips and other tiny detailed sounds that defines the clever boy s production skills... a trip on a groove roller coaster that simply devastates everything on its road

a stunning 3 track ep. >enter the night< provides a very funky vibe. with minimal feel, typified in cuts (yeah, shake a leg!), this records kicks off with a house rhythm before a bristling bass really starts driving the piece along. a smoke filled voice soon comes in, throwing the listener off talking about nights and exits or no exits while the track >no exits< on b2 is a fine and dark mixture of crisp beats and glitchy percussion to create a forceful groove as spluttery synth stabs keep up the incessant pressure. cuts of mazi s vocal twist things just that bit more evil as the house edged mood continues its push further into new depths of mayhem. the driving melody in >sarabbath< on b1 is quite a head-turner and should create a stir in the clubs, using the more minimal and melody side of this great 12inch

the master of simplicity is back on with his second release on karmarouge. the story behind the titel goes like this. saint patrick was a christian missionary and is regarded as the patron saint of ireland. he banished the snakes from ireland and some irish people say that human snakes replaced them. sian asks himself if we might need a new modern saint patrick? the a-side track >stegosaurus< is a creepy, slow builder and melodic track, somewhat like a placid dinosaur. >merman< on the b-side is a more melancholic, angelic theme with hidden melodic patterns and messages. born in dublin ireland, raised gypsy style in southern spain, sian, aka graham goodwin has worked in music since the age of 17. now 28, he has produced and released electronic music consistently and has worked with diverse artists during this period. his productions are arty, unique and childlike simple, he works with sounds as blocks of bright colour and makes music for both the club and mind simultaniously. sian believes that electronic music is more than just an interesting theory, it shapes lives and his dj sets are well known for sweat, eclecticism and positive energy
